Did I Hear Someone Say "Giveaway" ???

Well, we had a wonderful time visiting Blue Ridge this past weekend. Alas, all good trips must come to an end. I'll be posting some photos of the beautiful autumn leaves and more later this week.

But I'd like to quickly share a little bit of exciting news... our sweet new friend at Fairy Tales are True is hosting a Sea Lillie give-away today! Check out her blog for more details...
Best of luck!

I Heart {the color} Mustard.

Anyone else agree with me?
Mustard is the hottest fall color in my humble opinion.

That's why I dedicated my treasury on Etsy today to it.
Please check it out and support other Etsy members in their pursuit for creativty!

A few of my faves:

I'm at home being productive and Kaela and Gino are on their way to Blue Ridge, GA to celebrate their anniversary. Little lovebirds.

Happy Saturday!

Good Morning, God

Psalm 130

 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;
 2 Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
   to my cry for mercy.

3 If you, LORD, kept a record of sins,
   Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you there is forgiveness,
so that we can, with reverence, serve you.

5 I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
6 I wait for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.

7 Israel, put your hope in the LORD,
for with the LORD is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption.
8 He himself will redeem Israel
   from all their sins.

Featured Friend: Habatat Coffee Company

Happy Monday!

Habatat Coffee Company is owned by Ryan & I's friends, Sean and Natalie Scott.
Scott was the drummer in Wilderness of Tekoa with Ryan that ended over 4 years ago.
We remained great friends with the Scott's.
They just moved back to south FL from D.C. after opening the first Habatat Coffee shop.

They are a young 30ish (ok, Nat is 29) married couple with a 7-month old precious baby girl, Selah, and have made the ground floor of Habatat Galleries (run by Sean's bro, Jay) their home.
This weekend we got to join them for a soft pre-opening with family and friends.
It was inspiring to see them in their element, actively pursuing a dream that I remember them bouncing around their heads several years ago.

Sean uses this quote to summarize their mission for the company:
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. -Leo Buscaglia

This shop is the first non chain coffee store (that I can think of) for the downtown West Palm Beach area.
It's about time, I say! I'm not a huge supporter of Starbucks (except for Pumpkin spice latte season), but I do like my Dunkin Donuts (Sean, forgive me).
They only sell fair trade & organic coffee.
I bought my first bag made by Barrington Roasting Co. It's from Costa Rica and it's delicious!

Here are some pictures from Saturday:

Even if you aren't local, join their facebook page and you can contact them to order their assorted coffee beans! (Yes, they only come whole). You won't be disappointed!

And, just for fun - here are some band pictures when they were on tour. I was still in college and Ryan and I had just got engaged! You can still find their album on ITunes :)

Ryan - Left, Sean - Center, Nic - Right

Typical fun loving Sean (pre- buzz cut)

The whole crew + Ryan's Mama in pink (Nat is second wife on  left)

The Timothy Initiative

Hi Friends:)

I really want to share with you about this awesome organization called

Kae and I go to Grace Fellowship in West Palm Beach.
Pastor..ehem... Dr. David Nelms is deeply invested in church planting through TTI.
Ryan and I recently started supporting the organization as well.
They church plant in Asia, Africa and the America's.
See here for some info about them.

I just L.O.V.E. the fact that Grace spends so much time, effort and money into planting churches around the world and equipping pastors of all tongues and ethnicity.
Kinda seems to be a rare quality in churches today in my opinion.. Sad
Anyhoo, hope you enjoy the education:)

Almost the weekend my friends..
I can feel it..

P.S. Yours truly is now advertising on this super fun blog.
Wish us luck!

Bucket List II

This is a follow-up to Nicole's original post "Do You Have a Bucket List?"

And here are a few things that are on my list of things to accomplish (in no particular order, and some of them are really 2 or 3 things in one!)...

1. Become the best singer I can be
(and support myself and my family simply by doing my craft)
2. Have one of the best trained dogs in the world! (Hey, you can dream, right?)
3. Travel the world and learn as much as I can from those I meet
4. Help Give Life grow into the project we have envisioned... the vision "to give help, to give hope, and to Give Life to those that are in desperate need."
5. See and love my husband the way I did when we first fell in love by the water's edge and when I walked toward him under tree canopies on our wedding day
6. Learn Spanish, French and Italian (and you can throw in ten more languages too!)
7. Create, create, create... to imagine life and imagine love! Inspired by the Creator.
8. Cultivate a family that is close, honest, passionate,
and deeply in love with Jesus and each other...
9. Learn to play the piano, guitar, and master my ukulele
10. To live the rest of my life fully content with the gifts God has given me

Here's a cute Fall Bucket List!

Anyone have any in common? What's on your Bucket List?
